From bow to stern, the Mainstream 33 EFB, is teeming with walkable spaces and comfortable sundecks.
The bow offers a large and wide nose, to descend comfortably when in port or prepare those perfect dives from a high point. The bow sunbathing area is large and designed specifically to accommodate 3 people comfortably. Like almost all Joker Boats, the bow sunbathing area can be extended to blend in with the console area and enlarge the subathing space.
The console houses a large space with toilet, sink and shower within it’s tall structure. A large storage space for clothes, towels etc is also a main caracteristic of such inner space. To access it, a two-step plexiglass door has been conceived laterally to the console instrument area. Overall the console is completely walk-around. To ventilate the bathroom, two portholes on each side of the console allow light and a little air to penetrate. The two portholes can only be opened from the inside and are darkened for further privacy; to add to this, each porthole is enclosed with a very resistant mosquito net that prevents 80% of water from entering if forgotten open.
The instrument area on the console is large enough for any accessory you may want to install. It also provides a storage compartment just below the steering wheel. To finish off the console area, a large and very comfortable driving seat is standard to this model and gives the captain the choice of standing or comfortably sit, thanks to the rotating backrest pillows. The seat is resting on the driver’s seat module that houses, under a large teak lid: a teak cutting board or 2 (or 3) gas or induction stoves (optional) and a small sink with faucet. On the bulkhead watching the stern area a storage compartment and a fridge take up the remaining space.
The aft cockpit is characterized by a large sundeck big enough to accommodate 3 people in comfort. In front of the stern cushion, a dinette for three people accommodates passengers during navigation. Under this aft cushion, a huge locker, opening thanks to an electric hydraulic arm, reveals the engine room with ample space on the lateral side for the maintenance of the latters.
Finally, 2 storage areas are located under each respective dinette seat.
The extreme stern is characterized by a large teak platform, large enough to give the boat more stability during navigation and when anchored. It is a great area to sit and relax or to place your fins & mask on/off.
Such platform is easily accessible from a passage to the deck’s starboard. This was designed to avoid trampling on cushions and disturbing any sunbather resting there.
